Idroflog is an ophthalmic solution formulated with sodium hyaluronate (0.2%) and sodium hydrocortisone phosphate (0.001%), designed to act on dry or irritated eyes due to various causes, such as prolonged screen use, allergies, decreased tear secretion, or after ophthalmological procedures. Sodium hyaluronate has mucomimetic and pseudoplastic properties that allow the solution to be distributed uniformly and effectively on the ocular surface, forming a viscoelastic protective film that stabilizes the tear film, reduces friction caused by blinking, and increases visual comfort. Hydrocortisone phosphate, present in low concentration, exerts a mild anti-inflammatory action, helping to moderate discreet inflammatory processes on the ocular surface without the side effects of more potent corticosteroids. This combination gives the solution a dual effect: it promotes intense hydration and lubrication, while protecting the cornea and supporting the recovery of corneal epithelial cells in conditions of hypotear secretion.

Instill 1-2 drops of the solution into the conjunctival sac of the eye(s) to be treated, 2-4 times a day or as directed by an ophthalmologist. Before use, remove the cap and avoid touching the eye dropper tip to the surface of the eye to reduce the risk of contamination. If you wear contact lenses, you can apply the solution with the lenses in place, as prescribed by your doctor.

Do not use if you have a known hypersensitivity to any of the components of the formula. This product should not be used for viral eye infections, corneal ulcers, purulent blepharitis, purulent conjunctivitis, or other serious infectious eye conditions without medical supervision. Prolonged use should always be monitored by a specialist and is usually contraindicated in children, pregnant women, and during breastfeeding. Temporary blurred vision may occur after instillation; wait until it clears up before driving or operating machinery.
