Ointment for application to the skin of the eyelids, indicated to help relieve symptoms associated with external styes and chalazia.

Helps relieve itching, discomfort, and swelling of the eyelids associated with, among other things, the appearance of external styes or chalazia. DesoSept is an ointment intended for the care of eyelid skin. Its formula combines Manuka honey, Manuka oil, and cinnamon oil extract, ingredients that help soothe irritation, moisturize the skin, and promote the regeneration of the protective barrier of the eyelids. The formula contains 2% MGO 400+ Manuka honey, 0.5% Manuka oil, and 1% organic cinnamon essential oil. The product does not contain preservatives, perfumes, or dyes.

Clean the eyelids beforehand. Apply a small amount of ointment to the area of the eyelid where the external stye or chalazion is located. Gently massage in the direction of the gland opening: on the upper eyelid, from top to bottom; on the lower eyelid, from bottom to top. If no visible improvement is observed within 5 days of starting treatment, consult a doctor.

For external use only and for application to the skin of the eyelids. Do not use on wounds or damaged skin. Do not use if you are hypersensitive to any component of the formula and discontinue use if an allergic reaction occurs. If the ointment comes into contact with the eye, rinse with clean water. Keep out of reach of children. Do not use if the packaging is damaged or after the expiry date. Once opened, do not use for more than 90 days. The product is not suitable for children or pregnant women. For your safety, we recommend that you always check the product instructions and precautions on the packaging.

Vaseline, lanolin, manuka honey MgO 400+ (2%), manuka oil (0.5%), organic cinnamon essential oil (1%). The ingredient list may be updated by the manufacturer. We always recommend consulting the product packaging before use.
