Unlike more traditional gelling fibres, Exufiber is a non-woven PVA dressing. It gels upon contact with exudate, helping it to conform smoothly to the wound bed. How Exufiber worksExufiber dressings are made from densely interlocked fibres to minimise the free space for fluid or exudate to flow through, whilst retaining it. This structure simultaneously increases the integrity of the entire dressing, which remains intact.
