Isosource Standard Fiber Neutral Flavored Drink 500ml is a complete, normocaloric (1 kcal/ml) and normoproteic polymeric formula, indicated for adults and children over 3 years of age who require nutritional support due to malnutrition or nutritional risk. Its balanced composition allows it to be used as an exclusive food source or as a nutritional supplement, always under medical supervision. Each 500ml package provides approximately 515 kcal, 19.5g of protein, 67.5g of carbohydrates, 17g of fat and 8g of dietary fiber. The combination of high biological value proteins, carbohydrates, lipids, vitamins and minerals helps to meet daily nutritional needs in various clinical situations. The formula contains a balanced mixture of soluble and insoluble fibers (50:50). Soluble fibers, derived from fructooligosaccharides (FOS), gum arabic, and inulin, help promote the balance of the intestinal microbiota, while insoluble pea fiber contributes to intestinal transit and the maintenance of digestive function. This combination makes the product particularly suitable for prolonged use in patients undergoing enteral or oral nutrition. Isosource Standard Fibre also has a reduced amount of lactose, being considered clinically lactose-free, and is gluten-free.
